Linda Faith (Davis) Sailer

Linda Faith Sailer, age 75 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away peacefully Sunday, February 11, 2024 at home with family by her side. She will be interred at a later date next to her husband in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.

Linda Faith Sailer was born June 18, 1948 in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of Lyle Brown Davis and Audrey Lee (Bowling) Davis. She moved to Miami, Florida in 1952 with her family where she attended Miami Norland High School. On September 18, 1967, she married John G. Sailer and in 1978, they moved to Venice, Florida. They were married 43 years before his passing on September 25, 2010.

Linda held many jobs throughout her adult life including owning a preschool in Hollywood, Florida, owning a video store, working as a CNA and working in a photo lab. She enjoyed ceramics and reading and loved movies and autographs.

Linda is survived by her son and his fiancé, John G. Sailer, Jr. and Pamela; her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bob Polk, 3 granddaughters: Rachel and her husband, Adam, Tori and her husband, Jason, and Hannah; 3 grandsons: Nick and his wife, Kelly, Charles and Cody; 5 great-grandchildren: Garrett, Anna, Maisie, Marlee and Riylee; a step-sister, Dawn Lyons; a step-brother, Jerry Evans; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Lyle Brown Davis; her mother, Audrey Bowling Davis Evans; husband, and a brother Charles William Davis.
