Kenneth William Sibley

Kenneth William Sibley, age 82 of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Richmond Care Center. Per his wishes, Kenneth’s remains were donated to the Willed Body Program at KU Medical Center for anatomical studies. He will be cremated at a later date.  

Kenneth William Sibley was born April 16, 1943, in Long Beach, Los Angeles, California, the son of Albert Lee and Ann Elizabeth (Halstead) Sibley.  

Kenneth graduated from Orange High School in 1961 and spent most of his career as the owner and operator of Sibley’s Autobody and Restoration in Orange County and Arroyo Grande, California for 60 years.  

Kenneth is survived by his children: daughter, Karenda Sibley; daughter, Crystalee Protheroe and her husband Marc; daughter, Kimberly Banks and her husband Ryan; grandchildren: JD Cronley, Aulora Protheroe, Arabella Protheroe, Alexus Protheroe, Cora Protheroe, Elijah Banks, Hayden Banks, and Ella Banks; sister, Alberta Lee Morehouse and her husband Jim; niece, Michelle Baldwin and her children: Cenee, Nathanael, Anthony, Aneisa and Rikilyn; nephew, Scott Morehouse and his son, Scotty Morehouse, Jr.; nephew, Drew Morehouse and his children, Elias and Amelia; and nephew, Daniel Morehouse and his children, Mattias and Otis. 

Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother, (1995) and his father, (1987)
